We begin this wonderful tour by driving up through verdant coffee and sugarcane plantations. We will pass through Grecia with it's famous metal church and it's unique architecture.

Next, we visit the craftwork town of Sarchi – home of the famous Costa Rican oxcart. These oxcarts were the basis of Costa Rica's commerce for centuries and coffee was hauled to the coast. Today they are beautiful works of art each one painstakingly handcrafted and painted. We shop until we drop here with a large variety of unique souvenirs made in wood, leather and ceramic.
